Cape Town Course Venue

Cape Town VenueThe Institute’s Ceramics Conservation Department regularly presents its introductory level courses at this splendid and graceful Rondebosch venue, historically the residence of Mr Cecil John Rhodes. The Institute’s Programme & Logistics office manages every aspect of these course presentations from its central location, and the content and scope of these presentations are therefore identical to that which are presented at the Institute’s central campus. However, at the Cape Town venue this course takes the form of two 2-week sessions, rather than the single, 4-week format which is followed at the central campus.

At this venue, free, secure, on-site parking is made available to all course participants. Kindly note that the Institute’s Programme Office is wholly in charge of course arrangements as well as all student affairs - this office will knowledgeably assist all enquiries. The venue can not be of service in this regard. Please note that the Programme Office will request prior photo identification from all enrolled participants, in order to expedite security clearance and access into this highly secure venue which also serves as residence to the Head of State.
