Outdoor marbleThe Heritage Conservation Group is a specialized unit of the Institute which operates on a country-wide basis. This field unit primarily engages in actual conservation services, as well as consultative services, in respect to culturally significant public installations. The unit renders services to local and national state institutions, councils, heritage collections and corporate institutions - undertaking conservation projects that are too large or multi-faceted to be undertaken by the private practitioner. Such installations and objects include outdoor bronze sculpture, ceramic tableaus, mosaics andheritage conservation group historic floors, as well as stone, marble, plaster and cast metal busts, architectural components and monumental works in stone, cement and metal.

Heritage managers, collections curators and associated office bearers country-wide may engage the services of The Heritage Conservation Group by contacting the unit’s Logistics Office:
